Camping Rules and Regulations
Camping Rules and Regulations
With the scope of the 125th Anniversary Celebrations, we have had to prepare some rules and regulations to protect our campers. We count on your collaboration and support.
The entry gate opens at 8:00 am Saturday, July 17th and close at midnight daily. All vehicles will be required to park in the designated parking areas.
ALL CAMPING IS NOW ASSIGNED. Camping stalls are assigned by date of registration. Roping off of additional stalls is prohibited. Tampering or Removal of Staked Flags will result in eviction. Please be sure you are moving into the correct campsite as they are clearly marked. Failure to do so may result in the removal of your camping unit by tow truck.
Camping units and vehicles must not park in Fire and Emergency lanes. Fire lanes must remain clear at all times. Camping units must not form circles or close in camping areas due to fire regulations. If fire lanes are found to be blocked, Festival organizers have the right to have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense.
The Batoche Métis Nation Site (including campgrounds) is a “private site”. Therefore, appropriate wristbands must be worn at all times beyond the checkpoint areas.
A camping unit will be defined as: 1) A Truck & Trailer, 2) A Motorhome,
The fee charged for camping is for the campsite, not per person staying in the site.
Since this is an “Alcohol and Drug Free Event” all vehicles may be subject to search upon entering the Festival Grounds. All campground occupants must wear a wristband.
Camping areas must be kept clean and maintained.
Grounds for Eviction
1. Not visibly wearing wristbands in campground
2. Unauthorized or fraudulent wristbands in the campground
3. Possession of fireworks, weapons, alcohol or drugs
4. Excessive noise
5. Unauthorized sale of merchandise, food or alcohol onsite
(this includes charging for food or beverages at private parties)
6. Rowdy behaviour
7. Misuse of a vehicle
8. Tampering or removal of staked flags in campground
9. Tampering with any of the water sources. This will be treated as a
criminal offence
10. Under the influence of drugs or alcohol
11. Failure to adhere to any of the rules or regulations
Quiet Hours
The quiet hours are from 12:00 midnight - 6:00 a.m. Please respect others on site and keep all noise levels at a minimum.

All-terrain vehicles, golf carts, horses, mopeds and dirt bikes are prohibited. Please use the SGI Safe Ride if you do not wish to walk.
