Sterling Brass Memorial Fiddle Competition
Sterling Brass was an avid fiddle player, fan and collector. His favourite event to attend every summer was the Back to Batoche Festival and especially enjoyed the fiddling competitions as a participant and a spectator. This year as a tribute to honour his memory and his love of Métis fiddling, his family has sponsored the Sterling Brass Fiddle Competition. This is an open event to all ages and takes place Wednesday July 21st. We hope you will join us in celebrating the life of Sterling Brass.

Métis in Motion
5km Walk & Run
The walk and run will be taking place at the Batoche Historical Site on Monday July 19th at 8:00am. There is a $10 fee per participant with the proceeds going towards a Veterans Monument to be built at the Batoche Festival Site. This is a great opprotunity to explore the Batoche Historical Site!
